چکیده

Aims: To evaluate the effect of different nutrient management practices on growth, yield and attributes wheat.
Study Design: Randomized Block Design (RBD).
Place Duration Study: The experiment was conducted during Rabi season 2016-17 at Instructional Farm Acharya Narendra Deva University Agriculture & Technology, Nagar, Kumarganj, Ayodhya (U.P.)
 Methodology: consisting 10 treatments, T1 Control (N-0,P-60,K-40Kg ha-1); T2 (Azotobacter); T3 (60 kg Nitrogen T4 (40 ha-1 + Azotobacter); T5 (80 T6 Azotobacter ); T7 (100 T8 T9 (120 T10 ha-1+ Azotobacter) were laid down in triplicate plots block design (RBD).Wheat variety PBW-343 taken as test crop.
Results: results revealed that application chemical fertilizers @ 100 (T10) recorded highest growth viz. Plant height, dry matter accumulations, number grains per spike, weight weight, grain yield, straw harvest index.

Growth Response of Winter Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and Wild Barley (Hordeum spontaneum Koch) to Nitrogen

A greenhouse study was conducted to investigate the effects of nitrogen (N) on wild barley (Hordeum spontaneum Koch) interference with winter wheat (Triticum aestivum var. Pishtaz) by an additive series experiment. The experiment was conducted in a split plot design with 3 replications. Wheat plant height losses were on average 30, 10, and 10% in a wild barley density of 16 plants per pot with ...

Effect of Different level of Nitrogen and Vermicompost on Quantitative and Quali-tative Traits of Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

BACKGROUND: Wheat produces more than 50 percent of requirements protein and calorie for human nutrition in Iran. Management of nitrogen fertilizing is important to increasing wheat production. So, among chemical fertilizer a high correlation reported between nitrogen and yield. Also to improve physical, chemical and biological properties of soil, organic fertilizer such as verm...

The wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) leaf proteome.

The wheat leaf proteome was mapped and partially characterized to function as a comparative template for future wheat research. In total, 404 proteins were visualized, and 277 of these were selected for analysis based on reproducibility and relative quantity. Using a combination of protein and expressed sequence tag database searching, 142 proteins were putatively identified with an identificat...

Effect of Chromium (VI) on physical growth and biochemical parameters of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) seedlings

The effect of different concentrations of hexavalent Cr on growth and biochemical parameters of two T. aestivum cultivars (Punjab-11 and Sehar-06) was investigated. No significant inhibition of seed germination was observed in both the cultivars at all the tested concentrations (P ˃ 0.05). A significant decrease in root length for both the cultivars was observed at all the Cr concentrations as ...
